Photo Gallery

The History of Medicine Collection includes many textual and photographic records that have been sorted into the following categories to allow a closer look at student life, medical classes and faculty. A number of documents, such as certficates and diplomas, have been included as well. 

Class Photographs

This gallery contains class photographs from the School of Medicine from 1890 to 1963. Some photographs contain student names listed underneath.

Staff Photographs

This gallery contains staff photographs, who were part of the Faculty of Medicine between 1882 and 1965. For more information on the faculty, see the Deans or Faculty pages.

Classroom and Event Photographs

This gallery contains photographs of student life at Western University, including photographs of class work, such as dissections, as well as social events, sports and committees. For more information on the photographs, see Student Life. 

Records of the Department of Medicine

This gallery contains digitized copies of the various records and documents produced by the Department of Medicine. This includes certificates, diplomas, lecture notes and event programs.
