Help Us Identify Local Built Heritage!

Are you interested in local built heritage? Enjoy solving mysteries? Think you'd be able to identify a building based on architectural drawings? We need your help! Sometimes we receive architectural drawings from donors but are unable to identify which building the architects were designing. When we have plans that are unidentified it makes it difficult, if not impossible, for us to connect our users with the appropriate records and for our patrons to find the information they are looking for.
Interested in helping out? Feel free to browse through the digitized plans and see if you recognize any of the buildings. There are two categories, residential and commercial as well as a few identified buildings. If you have information you think would be helpful to us, please enter it in the provided collection form. Once the details have been verified the records can be updated.
All of the digitized plans in this project were designed by the firm Watt & Blackwell, Architects and are a part of our Watt & Blackwell, Architects fonds (AFC 455). Please visit the Western Libraries Archives and Special Collections homepage at https://www.lib.uwo.ca/archives/index.html to discover more about our collections. Thank you for visiting our site!
