How are you doing?
Better than before, not better than before before.
Are you isolating with someone else, if so who (relationships, not names i.e.. father, sister, roommates, spouse, your children etc.)?
Father
How has COVID-19 affected your home life? How are you passing the time?
It hasn't changed too much. When I was sick, I wore a mask around my home as I do the chores and cooking. I'm already extremely clean. I watch movies, docs, play games etc.
How has it affected your work, education, etc.? Are you an essential worker?
I am not an essential worker. I would have been if I wasn't already sick with a separate disease, but I had planned on part time school this summer.
What about the outbreak and response to it has you most concerned?
My concern has changed over time, it would be mostly that we have no vaccine, and the people I see that have complete disregard for distancing as few as they may be.
Do you know someone who has or has had the virus? How has this affected them?
I was sick for over 2 months with it. I still have trouble breathing properly.
How well do you think the government and other leaders are responding to the pandemic? What do you think about the local, national and international media coverage?
I take issue with the idea of top government providing leadership outside of reinforcing what experts say, and they should only be deferring to them.
What challenges are ahead? How and how fast do you think normal life should be restored?
It will be probably until Spring 2021 until things start to resemble what we see as normal. Anything more is rushed.
What do you think will be different after the pandemic? What do you think should be different? What will be better or worse?
I don't think there will be much to change, this was something that was unforeseen, even though it should have been prepared for. In that vain, the best part may be countries and society as a whole being ready with PPE for such an event. Better or worse? Hmm, Handshakes are stupid relics of a bygone era.
Do you have anything else to say about the COVID-19 pandemic?
It is too much to say in this box, but libertarianism can pretty much lay it's grave now.
