The frontispiece as listed is "An addition in pencil and ink, and three stage-directions in ink (one being partially and partly erased) from the play of Hamlet in the Perkins folio."
Binding: Bound in burgundy embossed cloth. Joseph Crosby" signature with Zanesville Ohio stamp on front endpaper. Purchased at the Sale of Joseph Crosby's Shakespearean Library Catalogue number 313. "Joseph Crosby" signature with Zanesville Ohio stamp also on title-page. With various penciled notes throughout and some additions to bibliography. Additional copied letter sent to Crosby between pages 60-61, inscription on back reads "Copy of part of a letter sent on 5 July? 1871 by Dr. Samuel Martin, Zanesville Ohio from a cousin of his, a distinguished engineer in England whose daughter Lizzie it seems lived in Grey's Manor [letter still to be transcribed]
