- With social distancing guidelines limiting the number of people that could gather together our son's 8th birthday party went online. We dropped cupcakes on front porches in the morning and the children shared treats "together" during a video call. After spending several months connected to their classroom via video chats these Grade 2s were already very comfortable with the technology. A different birthday party from any prior year (although still lots of laughter!).
